Waterbury Wastewater Treatment Facility

Synagro renovated and expanded an existing structure located adjacent to the City of Waterbury’s Connecticut’s Water Pollution Control Plant. Under a 20-year agreement with Waterbury, Synagro processes all the sludge produced by the City, and has sufficient reserve capacity to process sludge generated by as many as 35 to 40 other waste treatment plants in the surrounding region.
