Synagro Headquarters

Our Baltimore headquarters has been designed and certified as a LEED Silver (Core and Shell) building and includes the following features:

• An irrigation system that reduces potable water consumption by 62.5% from the LEED established baseline case.
• Energy cost savings of 18.2% using the ASHRAE 90.1-2004 Appendix G methodology. Energy efficiency measures include an improved thermal envelope, high efficiency glazing, and energy efficient HVAC system.
• Use of building materials (23.88% of the total building materials content, by value) that were manufactured from recycled materials.
• Diversion of 75.59 tons (68.51%) of on-site generated construction waste from landfill.
• Purchase of Green-e accredited Tradable Renewable Certificates (RECs) equal to 70% of the predicted annual Core and Shell electrical consumption over a 2-year period.
