Cumberland County Organics Recycling Facility
As a technology-independent solution provider, Synagro considered multiple technologies before selecting composting for the Cumberland County facility. Synagro’s choice of the in-vessel composting process was driven by the desire to utilize proven technology with a demonstrated ability to produce a high-quality recyclable product and to maximize the environmental benefits of the facility.
New Jersey generators will be able to leverage Synagro’s investment in green infrastructure to stabilize their biosolids management programs while securing the favorable environmental attributes of the Cumberland County facility.
Synagro has teamed with the Cumberland County Improvement Authority to provide the facility with renewable energy, creating a highly sustainable, environmentally and community-friendly solution.
