Company Will Sponsor University of South Florida Student in the 2018 Florida Water Environment Student Design Competition

“The USF project that we are sponsoring is based on work undertaken by students at the Pinellas County South Cross Bayou Facility where we have a biosolids drying facility,” said Matt Busch, plant manager, St. Petersburg, Synagro. “The projects that these student teams are working on include side stream centrate phosphorus removal to reduce alum consumption; denitrification improvements – investigating alternative denitrification technologies; and methods and process improvements to increase bio-gas production.”
